Music is a carrier of information and the sounds recorded at Gravel Road Music Studio is new, innovative, inclusive and culturally appropriate and relevant to our region because music is geographical. It maps out Country through Songlines and tells us of our social and cultural obligations. Music is powerful and it vibrates within the soul of community. It creates cognitive, emotional and behavioural responses, as it reaches deep into the personal and our responses are based on social and cultural values that bring the whole community together.
Gravel Road Music Studio aims to use the communicative power of music to celebrate land and culture, increase community capacity, promote and showcase the diversity of music within our region, promote health and well-being, be inclusive, foster new levels of community harmony and build pride and selfesteem in people and strengthen their ability to work within an environment that is professional and produces positive outcomes that benefit the whole community.
